Optimising website navigation

Conduct usability testing and card sorting to better understand how their current and potential customers interact with their website, and to find areas for improvement.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Dubai (TDRA) wanted to improve the usability of its website by making it easier for users to find the information they need.

The goals of the IA optimisation project were to:

  • Improve the usability of the TDRA website by making it easier for users to find the information they need.
  • Increase the number of users who are able to find the information they need on the TDRA website.

The IA optimisation project was conducted using a variety of methods, including:

User research: The team conducted user research to understand how users were currently interacting with the website. This research included surveys, interviews, and usability testing.

Taxonomy development: The team developed a new taxonomy for the website. This taxonomy was based on the results of the user research.

Navigation menu redesign: The TDRA team redesigned the navigation menu for the website. The new navigation menu was based on the new taxonomy.

The project resulted in a more user-friendly website that made it easier for users to find the information they need.

Website Usability

The usability of the TDRA website improved significantly.

The number of users who were able to find the information they needed on the TDRA website increased by 20%.
